5th European Conference on Validation and Evidencing Informal and Non-Formal Learning in European Collaboration and Mobility Actions

We strongly believe that there is a growing demand for an exchange of experience in regard to the validation of learning outcomes on the European level.
Hence we organise European seminars and conferences focusing on actual topics, presenting learning projects and informal learning activities to a large
European audience:

The current conference in Leuven will contribute to the actual discussion of evidencing learning outcomes in collaborative projects, partnerships
and mobility actions.

On October 14th, 2011 the fifth conference on Validation and Evidencing of learning outcomes acquired in informal and non-formal learning will be carried out in the Irish College in Leuven, Belgium.
The conference
The conference in Leuven will be our first cluster meeting comprising the four LLP sectors Adult, Vocational, School and Higher Education. It has been developed in the framework of the VIP project dealing with validation of learning outcomes in European projects and partnerships. Within this conference we will present the outcomes of the VIP project, apply the instruments and create new opportunities for projects and services in the field of learning outcome validation.
Participants:
Due to the practical character of the conference the participant number is limited to 60.
We are expecting educational experts and practitioners from more than 15 European countries, from different kinds of European projects, universities, schools and training institutes as well as national and European
decision makers and funding organisations.
Methodology
As we will follow our philosophy of “Active Conferencing” volunteering participants are warmly invited to bring in their collaborative learning projects and mobility activities.
